Description for Sour Diesel

The plant itself is a fairly lanky one that tends to show lots of fox tailing when finished.

My first tent grow had two D.Heart S.Diesels and I wish the whole tent was. Not one negative aspect. Great finished product! Give it a 3 month glass jar cure and oh my goodness! I couldn’t be happier with these clones and cant wait to grow more of their strains. Thank you Dark Heart for making it possible for me to grow great meds! Cheers!!

Potent strain

By Bobby on July 13, 2015

This strain is bright green and super frosty. By far one of the strongest smelling strains around. Good strong plant, very potent and yields heavy. A must have strain for the commercial grower or connoisseur.

Best All Around Sativa

By The Toad on August 28, 2014

Sour Diesel is easy to grow, easy to trim, awesome yielder, stimulating both mentally and physically, stank smell, makes awesome hash/bho… the only drawback is the lengthy flower time, but outdoor it starts earlier than most so finish dates are not far apart.

Story: Sour Diesel has a storied past and there is some argument over how it was proliferated and who brought it from where. Sour Diesel is related to other phenos we’ve come to love; Chemdog and OG Kush. Some rumors say it all started in Colorado then a pheno was taken to the East Coast where it was renamed Chemdog. Then, as the story goes, Chemdog was taken to Cali and renamed OG Kush.

Growing Information

Flowering Time: 10-12 Weeks

Yield: Heavy

Growing Tips: Low maintenance makes for an easy grow. However, this one is not a variety for those of you trying to grow like ninjas. Sour D is almost impossible to hide without any type of high quality filtration system as one carbon filter won’t do the trick. These plants are possibly some of the most stank and skunk smelling plants indoors. Place clones outside on June 1st to prevent premature flowering. To start outside earlier, use the Gas Lantern Method of providing additional light during the dark period.

Patient Expectations
