Description for Alien OG

Alien OG was originally developed by Swerve of Cali Connection. It is a cross between Tahoe OG, which is believed by some to be the original kush, and Alien Kush which stems from Kyle Kushman's Las Vegas Purple Kush. The light green buds have a covering of red or orange hairs and should be airy. It is considered one of the most potent strains available today.

The best herb

By Jarod Hanson on November 15, 2018

I popped two packs of caliconnections alien og. One pheno was purple and grapes and hash over fuel. Amazing herb I believe swerve used the garberville purple kush not lvpk. I used team ogs or Vader alien rift as the male for back crossing to the purple cut. Bx3 and then ibl full sib crosses. This is the.best strain I’ve ever worked so Stable now and identical to each other. This stuff is hard indica nice yields and the finest smoke.

Great production strain

By JJ Erler on February 9, 2016

This is one strain you’ll want to grow if you’re looking for solid yields with bag appeal. An overall easy grow, she was the healthiest and sexiest plant on this run and delivered almost a qp from a plant that was only 3′ tall and didn’t get enough light or nutes in early flower. Tolerates nutes very well I don’t think I ever saw a burn sign of any kind. Nugs are frosty dense golf balls. I am looking forward to seeing what she can do when she hits 6′ plus.

As far as potency, I was worried after reading the previous review as I’m a higher tolerance smoker and don’t deal with boring smoke. I thought Alien OG was nice uplifting cerebral smoke I enjoyed it… definitely not super high THC. I’m not sure it is what I would keep for my personal stash because I’m pretty picky about what I’m looking for, but not everything I grow is for my personal stash… most smokers will be very happy with Alien OG especially those who are into big dense nugs (me personally don’t care about nug size but some people do!)

Definitely recommended for those with larger grows looking for yields, not necessarily for someone looking for a best of the best headstash strain.

Great Size But Lacking Potency

By Ron on November 3, 2014

Strain is a very easy at taking slips as she has feet in a matter of days. Not a finicky plant in any way at all and that includes nutrients, temperature, humidity and grow medium. I have noticed she takes well to topping and produces hefty flowers no matter what method is used.I admit I have had easier strains to trim but definitely had a whole lot worse also, I would put her towards the upper middle on that subject. Flowering time can be what expected with the genetic make up, 60-66 depending on growing environment factors. The main downside of this strain is the blandness of the feeling it gives you , body or mind.It is a bland and boring experience, I was pretty let down .It is still a great one to have in the stable just do not plan on winning the triple crown.
